11:44 am [Link]	long time, same shit i had completely forgotten about livejournal until justin asked if i had an account. i had to email myself my information because i couldn't even remember my user name. this is kind of nice though. i can still write about shit but not put it on myspace and then have people get pissed because i blocked everyone from viewing it. parts of my life are private. that's why it's my life, not yours. sometimes i just need to get things off my chest, but i don't need anyone else to know. today has started out on a sour note, so hopefully it will improve as we go along. my landlord called. she wants to know where my lease is. i told her it's been sitting on my table for two weeks now because i can't decide whether or not to sign it. it's lonely there by myself. no, i don't want a roommate. i don't want to live with people. i want an animal. a companion that loves me unconditionally. some people think that's pathetic or needy or insecure. call it whatever you want. i don't care. i need that kind of love in my life. that's what i thrive on. if you know anything about me, that should be it. every time i talk to her about it, she has another excuse of why she doesn't want me to have an animal. this time, she said it was because the last time she came in my house it was "dishevled." No. it may have been messy, but i can guarantee that there is no damage done in any way to that home. i have spent countless hours making that place livable, and for that she should thank me. i'm tempted to go rip out all the improvements i put in, all the new sockets, the new faucet heads, the support beams holding up the friggin kitchen sink!!! she said if i was as clean as the neighbors it wouldn't be a problem. the neighbors that are loud and have temper tantrums and slam doors and storm around and are so fucking anitsocial it's creepy?? the ones that i swear to god are serial killers and take up all the parking and won't even look at you as they walk by? the ones that leave notes on everyone's doors telling them about all the things they are doing wrong, like not bringing your trashcan up from the curb in a "timely" fashion? the ones that burn insence so strong i can smell it in my bedroom? or perhaps the neighbor that throws cigarette butts and beer bottles all over the yard. the one that throws ruckous parties at all hours of the night and is an absolute slob, but has the money to pay someone to come clean once a month. the one who has all kinds of tools and car parts and scrap metal and old oil cans and fish tanks taking up all four spots of the covered parking? or maybe it's the one that already has a dog. but in all fairness, she was allowed to get the dog, a three pound chihuahua, because she is a single female living alone. They got me a bag of ice, made me put it on the sting, and hold my arm over my head. They are really nice guys...crazy but nice. Bobby's not too hard to look at either. I woke up this morning to find two emails from my boss, one of which asking me to work tomorrow (saturday) to teach a motivational skills class to middle and high school students. Yeah right! Like I am going to get my happy ass out of bed on a satruday to come in here and do that. Besides, I have a shit load of reading to do and we are supposed to be doing something for my dad's birthday. My boss hasn't been in to work today since I've been here, so I don't know if he got my response or not, but I am a bit nervous about what he's going to say. Speaking of, I had to get Marissa to drive me to work today because I seem to have misplaced my keys. I have a theory of two places they can be: Danny's car or Poor Pauls. I hope they are in Danny's car...'cause if I left them at Poor Pauls I may never see them again. I had a key to my work on there, my only key to my car, my only house key, my bike lock key, and my two key chains that BP gave me from his trips, which really I want back more than the damn keys. I also misplaced my tounge last night, which may explain the spot on my neck... I think eventually I am going to need to stop and re-evaluate my morals - but I don't think it will be any time soon. I don't have anyone to answer to (like a boyfriend) but it is rather fucked up that the only guys I seem to be attracted to are the ones with girlfriends, or the ones that don't like me. And the only time I want to be physical with a guy is when I've been drinking. As soon as a guy likes me, I don't like them anymore. When I was in high school I told myself it would be a phase I would grow out of, but no, I haven't grown out of it. Maybe it's because I haven't found the right person. Or maybe I am just very afraid of commitment and relationships. Afraid of getting hurt again. Afraid of giving so much of myself to a person, only to have them leave me for someone else. Yeah, that seems to be more accurate... My boss just came in and said no worries so I am very happy to hear that. Whew. It's a great weight off my shoulders. Happy Happy Joy Joy!!! Have I ever mentioned how much I love my friends? 'Cause I do. I love you guys soooo much! Even the ones not reading this! I am sending my love to you with my mind powers! Brian, Amber, Marissa, Stacy, Danny, Jake and I went to that new diner on campus last night. The food tasted fine to me, no doubt because I was drunk, but everyone else said it wasn't that great. How could I betray Steak 'n Shake? Evil me!! Speaking of, I didn't mean to get drunk last night, but everytime I looked my beer glass was full, so I'm not really sure how many beers I really had.
